In parallel, listings published directly by UK employers on TheDreamJob are available immediately after validation by our moderation team (within 24 to 48 business hours). Employers with a verified account benefit from priority publication.

To never miss an opportunity, we recommend creating an account and saving your favourite searches. You will be notified as soon as new listings matching your criteria appear.

On TheDreamJob, there are two types of listings:

• Offers published by local employers: click the "Apply" button. If the employer has provided an external link, you will be redirected to their official site or form. Otherwise, your application is saved directly on our platform.
• Offers aggregated from the internet: clicking "View offer" redirects you to the original source (company site, HR portal, LinkedIn, etc.) where you can submit your application.

In all cases, we recommend having your CV ready in PDF format. If you have an account, your CV is saved to your profile and can be downloaded at any time to accompany your applications.

TheDreamJob covers the whole of the United Kingdom. Our search engine is configured for the entire United Kingdom, which includes London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Sheffield, Nottingham and every other city in the country.

For listings published directly by employers on our platform, the location is entered by the employer themselves. For listings aggregated from the internet, our algorithm filters results to only keep those that mention UK locations or that come from recognised sources operating in the United Kingdom.

If you are looking for listings in a specific city, state it clearly in the location field. You can also search for remote positions by typing "remote" in the city field.

CV search is one of TheDreamJob's most innovative features. Here's how it works step by step:

1. Go to the Search by CV page from the main menu.
2. Upload your CV in PDF or Word format (.docx, max size 5 MB).
3. Our AI Model fully reads and analyses your document: education, work experience, technical and soft skills, languages, industries.
4. It automatically generates a list of search keywords matching your profile, then queries job listing sources available in the United Kingdom in real time.
5. You get a list of relevant offers, ranked by match with your qualifications.

This process takes on average 10 to 20 seconds depending on the size of your document. If you have an account, you can save your CV to avoid re-uploading it every time.

TheDreamJob's service map lets you locate providers and establishments around a geographic area. To use it:

1. On the home page, click the Services tab.
2. Enter the type of service in the search field (examples: restaurant, pharmacy, bank, hotel, school).
3. Specify the area or neighbourhood you want (e.g. City of London, Canary Wharf).
4. The map displays markers showing matching locations. Click a marker to see the name, address and other information.

Our map uses OpenStreetMap data and the Geoapify API for category searches. It is completely free and requires no registration. For trade professionals (plumber, electrician, carpenter), we recommend using the Offer a service tab if you are a provider, or contacting our support directly for recommendations.

Yes, TheDreamJob has an interview simulation feature called Mock Interview. It lets you practise against a virtual recruiter powered by our AI, tailored to your industry and the type of role you are targeting.

Here is how it works:

• Go to the Mock Interview page from the Resources menu.
• Select the role and industry you want to prepare for.
• Answer the questions asked by our AI recruiter.
• At the end of the session, you receive detailed feedback on the quality of your answers, your strengths and areas for improvement.

This preparation is especially useful for interviews in the tech, finance, healthcare and retail sectors. We recommend doing at least 2 to 3 simulations before your real interview to gain confidence and clarity in your answers.

Our AI document reading system supports the following formats:

• PDF (.pdf) — Recommended format. It preserves layout and guarantees reliable reading by our AI.
• Word (.docx) — Accepted alternative format. Avoid .doc files (old Word version) which may not be recognised.

The maximum allowed size is 5 MB. If your file exceeds this limit, compress your PDF (using free online tools like Smallpdf) or reduce the resolution of the images it contains.

Tips for the best result:

• Avoid fully graphic CVs or complex table layouts — our AI reads linear text CVs better.
• Name your file clearly with your name: CV_FirstnameLastname.pdf.
• Make sure the text is selectable (not an image scan).

Your TheDreamJob profile is your online professional showcase. Employers and recruiters can view it. Here are the key elements to make it stand out:

• Professional photo: choose a quality photo, neutral background, professional attire. Profiles with a photo get 3x more views.
• Professional headline: write a clear, precise title summarising your expertise in one line. E.g. "Network Engineer | 5 years' experience | Cisco Certified".
• Summary (Bio): 3 to 5 sentences presenting your background, specialities and career goals.
• Work experience: list your roles with results-oriented descriptions, not just tasks.
• Education and certifications: provide your qualifications and any relevant certification (including online courses).
• Skills: add your technical skills and soft skills. These keywords improve your visibility in recruiter searches.

A complete profile (all sections filled in) appears with priority in the candidate list viewed by employers registered on TheDreamJob.

TheDreamJob offers two ways to get an expert analysis of your CV:

1. Via the AI CV Check:

• Go to the CV Check page from the menu.
• Upload your CV (PDF or Word).
• Our AI analyses your document and provides a detailed report: strengths, gaps, missing keywords, readability, layout, relevance to the UK market.
• Concrete recommendations are provided to improve each section.

2. Via the Singo assistant:

• Open the Singo chat and send your CV as an attachment.
• Ask specific questions: "Is my CV suitable for a marketing manager role?", "How can I improve my experience section?".
• Singo replies in natural language with personalised advice.

Both tools are available free of charge for all registered users.

To update your professional documents on TheDreamJob:

1. Log in to your account and go to your My Profile page.
2. Scroll down to the Documents section.
3. If a CV is already saved, click the delete icon (red trash can) to remove it.
4. Then click the Upload a new CV button and select your updated file.
5. The new document is immediately active on your profile and available for AI searches.

Same procedure for the cover letter. We recommend updating your CV at least every 6 months or after every significant new work experience to maximise your chances of being noticed by recruiters.

Posting a job listing on TheDreamJob is simple and free. Here are the steps to follow:

1. Create an employer account on our platform (free registration).
2. Fill in your company information in the My Profile section: company name, industry, description, logo.
3. Click Post a listing from your employer dashboard.
4. Complete the listing form: job title, location, contract type (Permanent, Fixed-term, Internship, Freelance), job description, salary (optional), external link (optional).
5. Submit the listing. It will be reviewed by our team within 24 to 48 business hours before being published.

Once approved, your listing is visible to all candidates registered on TheDreamJob. Verified employer accounts benefit from a trust badge that reassures candidates and improves the application rate received.

Posting job listings on TheDreamJob is entirely free for employers. Our model is designed to make recruitment accessible to all UK businesses, regardless of size — from startups to large corporations.

All job listings submitted to TheDreamJob go through a moderation process before publication. This process guarantees the quality of listings and protects candidates against fake offers or scams.

Our team checks in particular:

• The authenticity of the company and the consistency of the information provided
• The listing's compliance with UK employment law
• The absence of discriminatory mentions (age, ethnicity, unjustified religion)
• The clarity and completeness of the job description
• The absence of any request for payment or sensitive information from candidates

Non-compliant listings are rejected or sent back for correction. The standard moderation time is 24 to 48 hours. Employers with a verified account benefit from a reduced turnaround of a few hours. If your listing is not published after 48 hours, contact our support.

Protecting your personal data is an absolute priority for TheDreamJob. We only collect the information necessary for our services to function properly and we never sell it to third parties.

Data we collect:

• Profile information: name, email, professional title, experience (only what you enter)
• Uploaded documents: CV and cover letter (stored securely)
• Usage data: pages visited, searches performed (anonymised for service improvement)

What we do not do:

• We do not sell your data to advertisers or third parties

No. Your CV is never shared automatically with employers or third parties without your explicit action.

Here is what actually happens:

• Your CV uploaded to your profile is used only to power our AI tools (CV search, CV Check, Singo suggestions). It is not visible on your public profile.
• Your public profile (accessible via your profile URL) only shows the information you have chosen to make public: name, title, experience, skills, etc.
• If an employer wants access to your CV, they must contact you via internal messaging and you must decide to share it with them yourself.

You can delete your CV at any time from your profile. After deletion, it is no longer accessible by our AI systems.

You have the right to request the complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. To do this:

1. Send an email to info.thedreamjob@gmail.com with the subject: Account Deletion Request.
2. State the email address associated with your TheDreamJob account.
3. Our team will process your request within 72 business hours.

Once deletion is complete:

• Your profile and all your personal information are permanently deleted from our servers.
• Your CV and uploaded documents are erased.
• Your messages and applications are anonymised.

Note that job listings published by an employer account may be retained in anonymised form for statistical purposes, in accordance with our privacy policy.

In under 2 minutes, your account is created. You can also sign in directly with your Google account.

Don't worry, password reset is quick. Here is the procedure:

1. Go to the login page and click the Forgot password? link below the form.
2. Enter the email address you used when registering on TheDreamJob.
3. You will receive an email with a secure reset link (valid for 24 hours).
4. Click the link, then create a new password of your choice (minimum 8 characters).
5. Log in again with your new password.
